Description
Eagle Lake Park is a few miles from where I live. It's a place to run, bike, and photograph birds and flowers. According to the county website: From Pinellas County's website: "The 163-acre park originally belonged to the Taylor family, one of the original pioneer families in Pinellas County. The Taylor's used the property for cattle grazing and as a citrus grove. The park comprises two parcels the county purchased in 1998 and 2006." The Taylor home is still there, though not open to the public. There are many old live oaks and two lakes. This bush is not a native and was probably planted by the Taylors.
