Artist's Description
I took this photo while on the guided Lonestar Trail cross country ski tour. The day was relatively warm for mid-winter and the ice had already started to melt on the river. I was so happy to finish up in the warm snow coach. This is actually a completely color photo, but it sure feels like a black-and-white one: very moody. I love the dark water.
