Description
In 2018 I traveled to Panama. I traveled on the canal in a tour boat. Tour boats follow commercial carriers and transit the locks with these carriers. We spent three hours behind the MILTIADES II. According to the Marine Traffic Database, It is a Bulk Carrier that was built in 2006 and is sailing under the flag of Liberia. It’s carrying capacity is 30536 t DWT and her current draught is reported to be 9.8 meters. Her length overall (LOA) is 178.7 meters and her width is 28.06 meters. These tugboats come and go to assist the large ships in transit. As of today, the ship is off the coast of Oman.
