Description
Sarasota Jungle Gardens is one of Florida's few remaining roadside attraction. It's been open since 1939. A bit on the tacky side, but really a lot of fun. Most places that have flamingos warn you as to how timid they are. Seriously, these birds never got the memo as they greet you at the gate and never seem to stop making noise as you offer them food. Lots of fun to visit for kids and folks who want unobstructed views of brightly colored birds.
